Accessibility
What we aim for
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. We are a private business, so the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to us — but the Equality Act 2010 duty to make reasonable adjustments does, and a trade site that a partially sighted chef cannot use is a badly built trade site.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with real headings, landmarks and lists, so a screen reader can navigate it.
- Every control reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- A skip link to the main content.
- Text contrast at or above 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large text and interface borders.
- Form fields with real labels and hints, and errors described in text rather than by colour alone.
- Text that reflows to 320px and stays readable at 200% zoom.
- No motion, no autoplay, no carousels.
Known gaps
The catalogue and register tables scroll horizontally on narrow screens; the scroll container is keyboard reachable but a wide table is still awkward on a phone. We have not yet had the site independently audited.

If something here gets in your way, email compliance@misesupply.co.uk or ring 0117 000 0000 and we will fix it, and take your order over the phone in the meantime. We aim to reply within two working days.
